Microsoft Visual C & C++: Docking Window Problem

Hi All,
We have a resizable docking window class. Within the docking window we have a form view. In our application initially the window is docked to the right. When the focus is put in one of the edit fields in form view and then the dock window is floated. Now when the dockwindow is closed my application doesnt responed to any windows message. I am unable to find the problem. Please suggest me.
